The PROTECTORS are the consortium of the tribal leaders of the ancient civilization of OKOTO. They bear powerful weapons and armor and they fought alongside the MASK MAKERS to face the vareity of threats to OKOTO, such as the SKULL RAIDERS and wild beasts and they support the MASK MAKERS and the OKOTANS with efforts to deal with natural disasters.
When the SKULL SPIDER terrorize OKOTO, the PROTECTORS rushed to the TEMPLE OF TIME to recite the PROPHECY OF HEROES, which sent the MASTERS to OKOTO. Following their arrival, the PROTECTORS provided guidence to the MASTERS to find and claim the GOLDEN MASKS OF POWER to defeat the SKULL SPIDERS before telling them to head to the ruins of the MASK MAKER CITY to awaken EKIMU.
