THE DIRECTOR

PASI PEURE is the director of BIONICLE: THE NEXT GENERATION. PEURE is known to the world to be the man who directed the original BIONICLE film series. PEURE began being involved with the TECHNIC HEROES franchise as being the assistant director of films "QUEST FOR THE MASKS III: MASK OF LIGHT", "THE KRUVONIENGERS", "BIONICLE IV: LEGENDS OF NEW EDO" and "BIONICLE V: WEB OF SHADOWS" before making his official directorial debut with "BIONICLE VI: ISLAND OF DOOM".

He would occasionally collabarate in the HERO FACTORY franchise with LIAM BENSON, serving as co-director of films "HERO FACTORY II: ORDEAL OF FIRE" and "HERO FACTORY III: SAVAGE PLANET" and director of films "HERO FACTORY IV: BREAKOUT" and "HERO FACTORY V: BRAIN ATTACK"

Outside the TECHNIC HEROES franchise, PEURE made a few movie hits such as "SATURN" and he has a hobby of winemaking.

THE WRITER

SUNG GIM is the writer of BIONICLE: THE NEXT GENERATION. SUNG has written every TECHNIC HEROES film since 1980 starting with the film "ROBORIDER". SUNG is known to be the woman who is one of the original creators of the original BIONICLE franchise and she is deeply involved in the franchest as she's behind the screenplay of every BIONICLE film. SUNG is also the author of almost every BIONICLE novel.

Outside the TECHNIC HEROES franchise, SUNG is also known for her work on the EL TV KADSRE NINJA MOVIES and TECHNIC WESTERN film franchises. SUNG is also involved in music producing, dubbing and songwriting.

THE PRODUCER

RYU HAMASAKI is the producer and the associate producer of BIONICLE: THE NEXT GENERATION. HAMASAKI has written the first two TECHNIC HEROES films; "ROBOTMAN" and "ROBOTMAN 2" and for most of BIONICLE's original run, HAMASAKI served as the chief executive officer of EL TV KADSRE TELEVISION NETWORK and the executive producer of the BIONICLE films from "QUEST FOR THE MASKS 2" to "BIONICLE VII: SEA OF DARKNESS". HAMASAKI would often make cameos in the TECHNIC HEROES film.

Outside the TECHNIC HEROES franchise, HAMASAKI has his own film studio called "RYU HAMASAKI RELEASING" and "RYU HAMASAKI HOTELS & RESORTS", a chain of luxury hotel resorts.

WHERE WAS IT FILMED?

BIONICLE: THE NEXT GENERATION was filmed in parts of El Kadsre and the Oza Islands. Places that were filmed include EL KADSRE CITY (of course), ROMRAC, NAPTENNU and the famous BUUDHISHENARAIAN, which was used as the backdrop of the MASK MAKER CITY.

WHO MADE THE COSTUMES?

STEVEN QUARTEY and SUSUMU BRAMLEY are costume designers for BIONICLE: THE NEXT GENERATION. They were involved in the TECHNIC HEROES franchise since 1979, when SUSUMU made costumes for "THROWBOTS" before QUARTEY joined him to make the costumes for "QUEST FOR THE MASKS".

WHO DID THE SPECIAL EFFECTS?

LOUIE SUGIYAMA is the special effects director and co-executive producer of BIONICLE: THE NEXT GENERATION. SUGIYAMA is the chief executive officer of the SFX studio SUGIYAMA PRODUCTIONS, who took a position from his father in 1993. SUGIYAMA is also involved in SFX work during BIONICLE's original run.

WHO COMPOSED THE FILM?

ALAN SMITHEE is the composer of BIONICLE: THE NEXT GENERATION. There's not much information about him, but what we know is he also composed most of the films of the original BIONICLE franchise.

WHO RELEASED THE FILM?

BIONICLE: THE NEXT GENERATION is distributed by UNITED ARITO PICTURES and UNIVERSAL PICTURES and is produced by EL TV KADSRE FILMS in association with RYU HAMASAKI RELEASING and SUGIYAMA PRODUCTIONS.
