EKIMU, the MASK MAKER once ruled OKOTO with his brother MAKUTA. Thousands of years ago, they made MASKS OF POWER for the inhabitants. However, EKIMU's masks were more favoured than MAKUTA's, which made MAKUTA jealous that he chose to violate a sacred law, to create the MASK OF ULTIMATE POWER. EKIMU attacked MAKUTA as he put on the mask and send shockwaves across OKOTO and put the two MASK MAKERS into deep slumber.
As his body was discovered by the PROTECTORS, they saw the PROPHECY OF HEROES whispering from his body. His body was placed into the sarcophagus and adorned his face with a new mask until the MASK OF CREATION could be returned to him. EKIMU remained in his tomb in the ruins of the MASK MAKER CITY for thousands of years, waiting for the MASTERS to find his tomb and awaken him. The question is....could the MASTERS merge their ELEMENTAL POWERS to awaken him?
EKIMU is wise and strong. He was a skilled MASK MAKER, so much that his masks were favoured by OKOTO's inhabitants than MAKUTA's. EKIMU is able to contact the bearers of the GOLDEN MASKS OF POWER via visions, even when asleep. EKIMU wore the MASK OF CREATION, who is sought after by the MASTERS and the SKULL RAIDERS, but he was later given the GOLDEN MASK by the PROTECTORS when he went into deep slumber. His tool is the HAMMER OF POWER, which can use for mask making and for combat. He also carries a SAW SHEILD
EKIMU is voiced by HIDEKI EKIMOTO, a legendary veteran actor and singer who has a carrer that spans over 70 years.
